Malika Hamiddou held the position of Managing Director at CITAS – Community Interpreting and Translation Advocacy Service for over 40 years. She has proven herself to be a great asset to our organization with community focus in all of her activities. In the period from September 2017 to June 2022 she has worked as an interpreting volunteer for Moroccan and Arabic speaking elderly. After the Grenfell Tower fire, in which 11 Moroccan died and many families survived and made homeless, she supported ‘Journey of Hope’ an organization that our community needed most those days. Her passion and support for Grenfell Tragedy bereaved, survivors and community are much appreciated. Her leadership skills and dedication has helped Grenfell Tower Trust to continue supporting very marginalised families of bereaved and survivors and North Kensington residents throughout their journey of healing.
